Volleyball England are forming a 25th Hour Event group of volunteers who will be supported to plan and deliver a volleyball event to young people in their area during October half-term (probably the weekend of 30th to 31st October 2010).  This is a fantastic, unique sporting opportunity to give something back to your community and gain some great event management experience!

25th Hour Event Groups will be based in Birmingham, Nottingham, Tameside and Tyne and Wear.  There is also a residential training and team building weekend on either 21st to 22nd August or 11th to 12th September at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering (Volleyball England will provide accommodation and pay for your transport). You will also be involved in planning sessions in the run up to the event at times that suit the planning group.

Each group will include an Event Organiser, a Press and PR Coordinator, a Workforce Coordinator, a Logistics and Welfare Coordinator, a Partnership Coordinator and General Helpers. For those interested in sport, media, marketing and events, this would be a great addition to the CV!
