This Sunday the 6th of June 9 of our women’s squad members and coach Sian will be joining over 3,000 other runners at the Nottingham Race for Life 5K. Sponsored by Tesco, the Race for Life raises money for Cancer Research UK and many of the runners have been affected by this terrible disease, either themselves or close friends and family.

It’s a great cause and even the slightly less fit amongst us will be taking part…. and wearing pink!

You can sponsor the girls here  on their fundraising page or if you fancy a Sunday morning walk down the embankment, come and cheer them on! The race starts at 11am from Victoria Embankment.

Volleyball England will also be at the event on Sunday from 9am until 3pm with an outdoor net and balls, promoting our sport to the thousands of runners and spectators who will be at the Race for Life. Rockets have been asked to help out so if you have half an hour to spare, please drop down to support the court and promote the best volleyball club in the East Midlands!! For more info please get in touch with Paul.
