Three Rockets teams to compete in the National Volleyball League next year!

On Monday evening, the new National League structure for 2011/2012 was announced by Volleyball England…… next year the league will include 3 Rockets teams after successful applications to enter the league for Women I and a second Men’s team!

After dominating the Women’s East Midlands league this year and defeating three National League sides, Nottingham Rockets Women’s I are going to be playing in Division 3 North. After only losing a set this season the girls are looking forward to a challenge!

Our application for a second men’s team has also been accepted by Volleyball England; meaning the club now has a squad in NVL Division 2 North and Division 3 North. This is a great opportunity for even more Rockets men to get involved in the top level of UK competition. Talented young junior players, several of whom represented the East Midlands on the bank holiday weekend will have the opportunity to be part of this squad.

Please see the two attached documents for who they will be facing next season!!
