Nottingham Volleyfest a big success!

On a very sunny and very very windy Bank Holiday Sunday, Nottingham Rockets turned up in force for the first Nottingham ‘Volleyfest’ staged at Forest Recreational ground.
With five different teams featuring Rockets members, we had a good chance of winning something and we were not disappointed!
In the Mixed Division 2 the Night Crawlers finished in first place winning virtually every set on their way to their glittering glass trophies. The No hopers, occasionally featuring a full Lamb family front court, finished a very credible third having narrowly lost out in some very tight matches including the all Rockets clash!
Other Rockets volleyball players representing Nottingham University also were successful, with Uni 1 winning Division 1 of the mixed competition and the  Tri-Campus team (off to Malaysia on Friday the lucky devils) coming 3rd in the same group.
Next stop... Bridlington beach!
