Assumption Of Risk - Most injuries sustained through sports activities have no instances of negligence. There is almost always the possibility that injury may occur when engaged in a sport. This means those that play sports take responsibility for any instances where harm may occur. The inherent risks of playing sports are assumed by everyone involved, and instances where someone is hurt, he or she usually assumes the responsibility of resolving the matter without involving anyone else when there are no issues of negligence.

We take every precaution possible at training sessions, matches, club competitions and social events to prevent injury or damage to property.

Please Note - We can not be held responsible for injury or damage to property when a member has consumed alcohol at a social event.

Photography - Volleyball Session, Matches, Events

From time to time we take photos and/or film footage of training sessions, matches and events. The photographs/footage may be used in any of the media used by Nottingham Rockets for promotion including newsletters, leaflets, posters. They may also be circulated to the media.

The photographs/footage may also be used to promote the club nationally, and used on the Nottingham Rockets website or social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter etc. 

By attending our sessions, matches and events you understand and accept that this will happen.

If at any time you wish your photo to be deleted from the photo library, please contact Nottingham Rockets.
