Sitting Volleyball Nottingham - Season 22-23

Sitting Volleyball - New season is starting and we are looking new players.

We started the Sitting volleyball section in February 2022 and we managed to enter into the last 2 VE Grand Prix competitions. of last season.

Despite it being our first ever competition and most the players had only been to 3 or 4 sessions beforehand Grand Prix #5 saw us win 2 matches in Tier 2 of the competition. In GP #6 we only ended up winning Tier 2. A fantastic start to group of disabled / non-disabled players.

Sitting Volleyball Season 22 -23

This season we are starting in Sept and hope to enter all competitions which means we are looking to do regular sessions starting now. Some will be on a Monday evenings and some will be on Saturdays depending on other activities like National league matches.

Are you an experienced Sitting player or are you a complete beginner? Either way we are keen to hear from you!

There is no specific profile for sitting volleyball.. tall or short, young or old, disabled or not this is a fun, fast and inclusive experience which is good for your core. Whether you want to make new friends, just have fun or have a more competitive streak Nottingham Sitting Volleyball is for you.

At club level in England, sitting volleyball is played between mixed-sex teams of disabled and non-disabled players – making it an incredibly inclusive sport!

Its a perfect balance of friendly but competitive rivalry played in a supportive and encouraging environment.
