Nottingham Rockets are committed to giving young people aged 11-18 the chance to play volleyball at our Junior Academy.
The junior segment of our club has grown substantially in recent years and continues to be a flourishing part of our Rockets ecosystem.
We offer a safe and friendly environment for young people to enjoy playing volleyball. It doesn't matter if you've never played before!
Why volleyball for juniors?
Volleyball is a great sport to learn for young people. It’s great for staying active, developing motor skills and coordination, as well as teaching important skills like team work, leadership and communication.
The junior sessions offer a friendly space for participants to make new friends and form a sense of community through the sport. Through interacting with new people and developing their own skills, players continually build upon their self-confidence and self-esteem.
